WATER SOLUBLE SILAGE INOCULANT
Profile
SIL-ALL4 X 4® WS Water Soluble silage inoculant is a blend of bacteria and enzymes in a concentrated form for the preparation of silage. When mixed according to directions, it can be applied as a liquid directly to legumes, corn and sorghum silages and high moisture grains to aid in the fermentation process.
About the Product
Effective
SIL-ALL4 X 4® WS silage inoculant uses a combination of bacteria to aid in the fermentation of ensiled materials by rapidly lowering the pH of the forage or high moisture grains to protect proteins. Faster fermentation will minimize ensiling losses and conserve dry matter to boost feed value. SIL-ALL4 X 4® WS is formulated to minimize unpalatable acetic acid production.
Four specially selected strains of lactic acid-producing bacteria give SIL-ALL4 X 4® the ability to operate effectively across a wide range of conditions. These beneficial strains dominate the less efficient naturally occurring bacteria, thereby increasing the effectiveness of fermentation and reducing effluent loss.
At the same time, four different enzymes work to release extra sugars quickly and efficiently from the different carbohydrate sources in the forage. This is particularly important in difficult ensiling conditions.
Versatile and Easy To Store
SIL-ALL4 X 4® WS silage inoculant, when diluted for application, is applied as a liquid spray designed for uniform application. It can be used on alfalfa, grass, whole plant corn, high moisture corn, sorghum and small grain silages.
SIL-ALL4 X 4® is ideal for silage in big bales as well as bunker and tower silos. It is effective across a range of ensiling conditions. SIL-ALL4 X 4® is convenient to store and is stable for 18 months in an unopened container.
